Carlos Usabiaga is a Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Economic History of Pablo de Olavide University. His research interests include Macroeconomics, Labour Economics, Regional Economics, Economic Growth, Spanish and Andalusian economies.

More specifically, among other topics, he have worked on unemployment, active labour market policies, labour reforms, labour matching, matching function, Beveridge curve, economic growth, Okun law, inflation, wages, Phillips curve, Spanish and Andalusian economies, regional economics, macroeconomic thought, economic methodology.
